Looks like Alex lied again.  Newspapers are reporting that Boli (Primoliban) was not available OTC or by prescription in the Dominican Republic in 2001-2003.  Plus they are digging dirt and finding unsavory “steroids” guys associated with A-Rod’s cousin post 2003.   This is going to be a PR nightmare for the Yankees.   Soon the decision will have to be do we cut bait with Alex and sue him for Fraud and seek recission of the contract or do we just try to deal with the endless investigation that will come from the fact that no one believes Alex.

If they take the cut bait approach, it will be a costly legal battle with A-Rod and the Union but one that might ultimately place them in high regard as the team that stood up against this.  There is no way they will go down that road, but one can dream.  I used to think Alex was a spectacular talent who just had difficulties with pressure.   But at this point, if this isn’t cut short soon, this is going to be a 9 year distraction.  If you could go back in time how quikly would you tell Aaron Boone to put the basketball down.
