Whatever it was…the cause was a dirty needle or bad reaction to some “cure all” shot from a cuckoo doctor if I remember correctly.
Well…it doesn’t matter. It’s not like A-Rod could have possibly come into contact with a dirty needle. Doctors, hospitals, and nurses are really careful about all that stuff these days…

Maybe A-Rod’s cyst is one of those strange hair and tooth cysts, one where there would have been a twin but the other fetus was absorbed. I’m guessing the non-surviving twin would have been the one with the common sense and brains.
