I don’t agree. I don’t think there is any way he plays short for the next three years. At the very, very, very most he could play there next year – but I believe that even that is doubtful and overly optimistic. 

In my opinion, you want Jeter to make a move at the youngest age possible, which reduces the risk of injury to an older player attempting to learn a new position. Sooner the better…
