Burnett against the Boston “B” Lineup

AJ looked good last night.  And… I think Girardi has a “man crush” on Brett Gardener.  I can tell you it was very nice to see him generate that first run last night.  We haven’t had someone on the team with that kind of run manufacturing ability in a while.  But, Gardener totally hustled that [...]

RT Day

Ok – but I’m warning you… I’m bringing Bernanke with me.

RT Day

OK – Friday April 24th Yankees vs. RedSox at my house.  Game starts at 7:10.  I’ll take care of the food.  If you need directions, send me an email.  Make sure you leave work early that day.
Oh and if Geitner comes we should beat the crap out of him.

RT Day

I think we should explain to Geitner during the 7th inning stretch!

RT Day

Sounds very fun, so much the better if Boston. I think the host should also invite Timothy Geitner to explain his Toxic Asset investment structure during the seventh inning stretch.

Roundtable Day

FYI – As you all likely surmised, Mike T and I never discussed a penalty for not attending RT day. That was me trying to stir the pot. :)

Roundtable Day

I’m always up for a Roundtable Day.  Looking at the schedule there’s April 25, 2009 vs Boston in Fenway Park.  It’s a 4:10 pm start.  Of course if people don’t want to sacrifice a precious saturday, there’s always the Friday night game with a regular 7:10 pm start time.  Get some early season enthusiasm before [...]

Roundtable Day

Good idea.  I will volunteer to host.  Let’s pick the game.  Any preference for day of the week?  Friday night? Saturday?  I think the last time,  we picked a Friday night.

Roundtable Day

I ran into Mike T at a restaurant in White Plains Saturday night. We discussed the idea of having a Roundtable Day, but this time doing it earlier in the season. Maybe for a Red Sox game?
We also discussed a penalty for non-attendence. Any Roundtable member that does not attend will forfeit posting rights until [...]

It never ends.

The guy is not even around and look what is on the front page of Sunday’s Daily News….

He really is a Lightning Rod.  The good news is that the press shouldn’t bother the rest of the team over this since he is not there… They can just say “Ask Alex.”
