News story today says that A-Rod could be back by the end of April.   A-Rod has started hitting drills and reportedly is 70%.  Think the timing of this story has anything to do with the fact that Cody Ransom went smacked a long HR off the foul pole on Friday (going 1-3 driving in 3RBI and 1 R) and went 1-1 with a 2B, 2 BB, 1 R and 1 RBI on Saturday?  Could it be the post-game interview with Kim Jones in the clubhouse on Friday night where she was asking Cody if he coul believe that he was the starting 3B for the Yankees and Ransom, the humble, said talk to me on Monday?  Could it be the way Bob Lorenz, Kim Jones and the rest of the YES crew were speaking of the quiet confidence that Cody has?  If we know anything about A-Rod is that after he finished his rehab on Friday, he watched the game and post-game on YES and started thinking to himself, “Uh-oh…They like Cody more than me… Better get a story out there that I’m due back any day now.”
