Yep. Wasn’t Joe a commentator for the YES Network while Torre was managing? Didn’t Joe CATCH Rivera? How does he not know that Rivera is not good in non-save situations.
This is just another bizarre move by Girardi. In some ways he overmanages, in other ways (not walking Youkilis to pitch to Drew) he completely misses the boat.
