There’s no way Torre would have this team better than 13-13. 

How would Torre’s sage leadership helped Wang and his 34.00 ERA?  Would Torre’s leadership magically healed A-Rod’s hip before the season started?  Would Torre have told Posada to run slower and not hurt his hammy?  Would Brunney have even made it a week with Torre’s bullpen management skills?  How would Torre have helped Teixeira’s batting average – bat him 8th to take the pressure off?  Would Mo have not blown that Boston save if Torre was manager?  Would Torre have told Nady to lob it in to 2nd and prevented the injury to his arm?  Would Torre have figured out what’s wrong with Sabathia?  This is on Cashman and the medical staff not Girardi.
