WONDERFUL NEWS
by LenI am glad to hear about Manny and his drug use. It only makes the great players of my era (Mantle, Maris, Mays, etc.) even better and larger than they really were. Some pressure also is deflected from A-Rod. Maybe Selena Robets will write a book about Manny. Of course, the book will be written from the perspective of telling the entire story about Manny (the good as well as the bad) just as she did with A-Rod. I hope the bad includes Manny pushing a 60 year old plus Boston RedSox management person to the floor because he wasn’t provided enough free ticktes for his friends to a game.
Enough can’t be said about the management of the RedSox for getting rid of Manny last year and replacing him with a star player and a Yankees killer. Way to go Theo.

Aka…”This isn’t the team.”
talk about your unraveling. i know a rod will have an impact with the lineup but there is something definitely broken about this situation. is it me or does something seem wrong with girardi, the front office and ownership? i mean girardi promised to limit injuries, now we have another catcher down. does there seem to be fire from girardi? i thought thats why cashman wanted him: fire, running a strict camp, he was a ‘baseball man’ i am not sure what all of those things mean, but does it seem like those have happened or are happening?
