I don’t want to over react to the second game on the road trip…  but this is getting bad, desperate, terrible, whatever adjective you want to use.  It’s not Girardi’s fault that Hughes went out there and threw a terrible game, where he wasn’t competitive.  But if Sunday in Baltimore goes badly and then they go to Toronto where Halladay is going to pitch you could be looking at a digusting mini trip.  Only to come back home to a half full stadium.  I’m not sure if anyone thought this was the way things would go back in the winter. 

But as I was saying…. it’s unfair to Girardi but if this continues…..    I had always believed that Cashman (and his neck is on the line too), would give Girardi this season because Girardi was his hire after all, but if this team falls 8 games, 10 games below .500 how does Girardi survive?  At that point I don’t even know what changing the manager would do.  This has just become an awful situation.
