I like how Cervelli handles himself behind the plate. He’s not intimidated by established big-name starters. He has a gun. He was hitting .190 in Double A. On Gardner’s throw Joe just mentioned there was a fine tag play by Cervelli, who then intelligently gunned it to second in an attempt to get an out there. While Molina is recuperating he should spend part of the time checking out rocking chairs ’cause his career might be ending with us.
