Santana must have had a bite of the Sandwich
by Mike TWell played sir…..well played.
I’ll admit it, I thought we had no shot on Sunday. The nice thing was that the initial 4 runs off Santana came without a home run. Then the home runs started flying.
Another thing, the Army Black Nights parachutted into the stadium on Sunday. They had one guy jump in 5 minutes before the others, presumably to test the wind patterns for the five other jumpers who came in later. He came right down in the middle of the stadium like a corkscrew, with the wind pushing him in a counterclockwise direction. He said that the winds were “swirling” in the stadium.
So after his jump, all of the jumpers made their decsents towards left center field then circling towards the left field line and then landing back in shallow center field. NO ONE came down on the right field side or even attempted to go anywhere near right field or even land in a right to left pattern.  I was hoping one of them would try, and get pushed out to the right center field bleachers.
