What happened to this team after June 8th.  From May 8th to June 8th they were 21-8.  Since then they are 4-8 and easily could have been 2-10 (they should have lost the game to the Mets and could have lost the first game to the Nationals).  In the last 8 losses, they are scoring an average of 2.25 runs per game.  That won’t get it done no matter who is on the mound.

They are now back to 38-31 (7 games over).  Meanwhile the Sox keep winning.  They are 42-27 (15 over).  I hope Joe Girardi enjoyed those 8 days the Yankees held first place. (May 31-June 2, June 5, June 7 - 8).  I hope Nady gets back soon so baserunning blunder Swisher can ride the pine a few days a week.
