The Yankees will definitely do a sniff test on Halladay.

Do they have the prospects to get him? Yes, they do.

Is it likely that they get him? No, the Jays  would be hard-pressed to trade him within the divison.

That being said…Joba Chamberlain, Austin Jackson, and Jesus Montero, and maybe  Ramiro Pena could get it done.

Would I make that trade? Hell yeah. Halladay would make for an unthinkable rotation. Halladay, Sabathia, Burnett, Pettitte, Hughes/Wang…

The addition of Halladay would also make Burnett better. As he can reconnect with his “mentor.” 

No one knows what Austin Jackson, Jesus Montero are going to be. Pena is, at best, a nice player. And Chamberlain…will never be Halladay. I trade the youth for a couple more World Series Championships.
