Lauding Jeter for most hits as a Shortstop is an artificial milestone, Ruth had HR’s as a pitcher; Pete Rose played multiple positions, it’s a non-stat category for me. The only position where it’s even a bit interesting is for catcher since those guys get beat up so badly. They deserve any kind of acknowledgement.
