Where will A-Rod end up?
by JoeHere are A-Rod’s stats through last night. What will they be at the end of the regular season? Let’s see which Roundtabler comes closest. There are 25 games left. Don’t know what the prize will be, but we’ll think of something. Two points for the closest in each category. Ties get one point each. Ellen, since you’re our most prolific commentor, you can play too.

My guess:
126 H, 29 HR, 95 RBI, .281
He has his hip day plus possible other sit-downs if we clinch everything through home field early. I will be conservative, probably to a fault.
Hits 126 HR 32 RBI 91 Avg .272
Joe’s guess”
125 H, 30 HR, 100RBI, .279 BA
I think there are 27 games left (counting tonight & make up game on 9/14) … but John S. you are so correct, he will probably get at least 1 or 2 days rest … AND BTW I am honored to be able to ‘guess’ … Here goes:
127 Hits 28 HR, 96 RBI; .276 BA
Even though I HOPE all numbers are higher!
128 H, 31 HR, 98 RBI, .282 BA
119 Hits, 29 HR, 94 RBI, .280 BA
After thorough consideration, I predict as follows:
124 Hits, 30 HR, 96 RBI, .285 Avg.
A-Rod’s streak of 35 HR, 100 RBI seasons stops at 11. He will top 30HR for the 12th year.
