Mike T…when Torre joined the Yankees…he certainly let youth flourish…

There were a few young guys back then that Torre supported.

Let me see if I remember their names…..who was that young shortstop??? Oh, Derek Jeter. And that center fielder??? I remember…his name was Bernie or something like that. And then there was that guy he entrusted all the close games to….Mariano.

In my opinion…the real difference between Torre and Girardi is Green Tea.
