Granderson
by John BGranderson is not an everyday player. He can’t hit lefties. Check his splits against left handers (OPS is under .500). But he’s not making THAT much money ($3.5 Million per)….which means they’re willing to give up on him if someone takes Dontrelle Willis ($10 Million per).
Since Willis is finished, it would mean that any team taking the deal would essentially be paying $13.5 Million for………Curtis Granderson. He’s not worth $13.5 Mill.

If the Tigers insist on the Yankees taking Willis (who I would want no part of) and his salary, then the Tigers can pawn them off on someone else. I like the idea of having Granderson on the team, but not at the cost of that deal. I’m real serious about Lackey though. The Yankees should make a serious offer.
Actually, Granderson was paid $3.5 Million for LAST YEAR. But he’s owned $22.5 Million over the next two years. No thanks.
