How does Harden go to the Rangers?
by Mike TRich Harden signed with the Rangers for one year ($6.5M and $2.5 in incentive bonuses) and a mutual option for 2011 at $11.5 M. That’s a great deal, becauase Harden who usually ends up on the DL at some point during the season is a lights out pitcher when he’s available. So even if you get only 2/3 a season, he’s going to pitch like an Ace, so paying him $6.5M is a no brainer. Why didn’t Cash swoop in on this?

Cash didn’t swoop in on it because they are going after Halladay. :)
