The Mets amuse since they no longer amaze. They sign Jason Bay, which is a good move, but the signing and the news of it is released in what is historically the slowest news week of the year, between major holidays. No ticket sale upticks there, if Bay even warrants any.  Guess Jason will have to convert to become an opposite field hitter or a slap hitter, that left field at CitiField is very home run resistant.
