Last year we had Melky, this year – Wynn.  Discount age, since Wynn is signed for only one year.  There is not much difference between the two.  Wynn will steal more bases and will probably have a better OBP. Defense is probably equal.  Edge: Even

Last year we had Damon, this year – Granderson.  Big upgrade in defense, similar offensive numbers. Clutch factor may go to Damon, but we really don’t know yet. Edge: Granderson (defense factor)

Last year we had Matsui, this year – Johnson.  Johnson has a great OBP but less power than Matsui.  Matsui is very clutch, but streaky.  Both are injuries waiting to happen: Edge: Matsui
