Now is the time…

Now is the time to trade Robinson Cano. Now I tell you.
Send Cano and Javy to the San Fran Giants for Tim Lincecum.

Still Curt

He talks and talks and talks, ironic he is named Curt. So, Schilling feels Javy is fine for the National League, but doesn’t have the necessary skills and mind-set for the AL. It’s up to Javy to prove him wrong, but motor-mouth might actually have something there, regrettably.

Blegh…

The Mets have won 6 in a row and are in first place.  The Yankees are not.

What!???? Never heard of it!

Ok, so the team dropped a game to the A’s.  I’ve been watching, playing, loving, observing, obsessing about baseball for 30 years, not as long as some other people, but………  I’ve never heard of the unwritten code of conduct which says that an opposing player can’t walk on the pitcher’s mound.  What the heck is [...]

Wierd day

Sabathia pitches a 4 hit complete game, Tex and Thames homer, Yanks get a triple play… and they lose.  “That’s baseball Suzyn.  How do you figure that”
As for ARod, yeah he can do things that can make you scratch your head, but the pitcher way over-reacted.  Calm down, get a grip.  Its not a big [...]

Apparently…

….moving Hughes to fifth starter wasn’t the worst decision in the world. That’s using understatement for effect, no?

Well, Dr. Tynan [...]

Teixeira watch…

Teixeira is improving….Slowly.  He had a double last night, so he’s got that going for him.  I’m not going to leave him alone until his batting average reaches my weight.  And I need to go on a diet becuase I’m somewhere around 215-220.

Teixeira – .125 AVG (6/48), 8 R, 1 HR, 6 RBI
Longoria – .275 AVG [...]

Two weeks don’t mean much.  Lets see what the records look like at the end of May.

Always worry about the Sox

We may ridicule them.  We may hate them.  But, we should always worry about the Red Sox.  The team is not hitting, but they are still dangerous.
