Bullpen in Crisis!!!!
by Mike TApparently it’s also not to early to completely second guess the decision to put Joba in the pen and Hughes in the rotation. With a bullpen this leaky the Yankees will be lucky to win 60 games. I think George King III needs to stop with the sky is falling routine.

Actually, King’s pretty much a hack and rarely writes anything of note. I prefer, Mike Vacarro (NY Post), Joel Sherman (NY Post), and Andrew Marchand (ESPN). They have a better understanding of modern statistical analysis and are less reactionary.

It’s never too early to complain about how the team, the managers and the players go about things. To complain about results after one game sounds a little crazy. But it’s ok to be critical of who was brought in if you offer an alternative ( stay with Robertson don’t bring in Park for example). My personal area this season as everyone knows is outfield defense and I was happy with Granderson and pulling my hair out with Gardener and Swisher. Tonight, I better see some cooperation between Jorge and AJ otherwise I will scream and if there isn’t any Girardi better intervene to fix it. Defending champs don’t mean squat now, the moment’s over, time to concentrate, coaching staff included.
