When I’m watching the game..
by John BWhen I’m watching the game…I want to watch the game. Not stare at rappers in the booth pointlessly blabbing with Michael Kay and Ken Singleton as they ask forced questions. Especially given that one guy that conveniently inserted himself as the Yanks were about to win the 2010 World Series championship and claimed in a song that he “made the Yankee cap more famous than a Yankee can.”
Whatever…in 80 years….people will still know who Babe Ruth is…will they know “Jay Z” or however it’s spelled? ’Nough said (I think they’ll understand what that means).

Were they both stoned? Both those guys looked like they never were on TV or stood in front of a mic before. Was the whole thing a commercial to make sure the Stadium was filled for their concert (benefitting the NYY $$$)?
Kay or Kenny asked if they would trade their rap stardom for MLB. They both said baseball was too hard they couldn’t hack it – the question meant if you were guaranteed a similar level of ability or stardom in baseball. It’s called a hypothetical question. Duh!!
Even Snoop Dog or Dr. Dre would have understood the hypothetical nature of that question.
Definitely a commercial for the concerts. Could Singleton have been more uncomfortable in that situation? “Should I call him Eminem or Em?”
Singleton is so big he could have dropped Eminem in the breast pocket of his tweed sportcoat. Serioulsy, those guys looked so tiny next to Singleton…and even Kay who is tall.
Even Russ’ daughter Joss would have understood the question!! They truly appeared like it was the first interview of their lives … pathetic!
