Random Non-Baseball Thoughts
by Mike T- The Jets had to cut their PSL price in half for certain seats because they couldn’t sell 9,000 seats. This after they had no PSL for the upper deck. This tells me two things: i) Jets fans are smarter than Giants fans (who were dumb enough to pony up PSLS) and ii) The Jets overreached.
- PSLs are such a B.S. slap in the face. I have voiced my opinion about this in the past. It is nothing more than extortion.
- I’m interested in watching the England – US World Cup match. But as evidenced by the first two games (a 1-1 tie and a 0-0 tie) there just is not enough scoring.
- I can’t stand “stopage time.” When the clock reaches zero, the game should be over. How do you know when to celebrate?

How about those horns which tens of thousands people blow incessantly so you have to watch the game on “mute” which is not great since you don’t know the players, strategy, and even after putting you kids through soccer for years it doesn’t help you understand what “offsides” really is?
And the difference between a mere placement foul and a yellow card is just how good the fallen guy acts like he’s really in pain.
Watching the Brit flub an easy shot for a goal for the US was the only highlight.
