On July 21 I wrote down my predictions of what the AL East would look like on September 1. On August 11, I published those predictions here.  Lets see how I did:

Pretty much nailed the Yankees performance (the KC series split 2-2 instead of 3-1 is essentially the difference), and slightly underestimated the Rays.  I did not predict that Pedroia would be out for the year which has impacted the Red Sox tremendously, but I still was only two games off.   These were predictions over 38-40 games.  Apparenlty, Mr. Sterling, you CAN predict baseball.
